The weekend began with a small rehearsal, followed by a welcome party at the Red Barn. Heather & Greg chose to kick their weekend off with a kid-friendly pig roast and make the most of the gorgeous outdoor venue. The Vermont Farms Catering menu included a Whole Roasted Heritage Pig with Salsa Verde, Romesco Sauce & Chipotle BBQ, a Sweet Georgia P’s Farm Salad from the on-site farm, a Truffled Three-Cheese Macaroni along with Warm German Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Heather and Greg wanted their guests to have options, so the menu also included House Ground Beef & Vegetable Burgers on Brioche Buns, Special Sauce, Cheddar Cheese as well as BBQ Misty Knoll Chicken.
The Big Day
The next day guests enjoyed Pittsfield, Vermont until the early afternoon ceremony. Heather & Greg added a wonderful and unique twist to their meadow wedding – antique chairs and couches.
