We truly enjoyed the friends and families that came to celebrate Lauren & Andrew’s wedding last weekend. The entire wedding was gorgeous but the candle lit ceremony in the Red Barn and reception in the Stonewell Barn looked absolutely magical…. For dinner and dancing (in the Stonewell Barn) Lauren chose long rustic tables and and elegant fabric to drape from the old weathered beams. Very cool.
And she also had fabulous lighting! The room glowed 🙂
She decorated the barn beams with incredibly simple (but sooooo beautiful) glass balls with tiny candles in them. We’ve never had anyone use them this way before in the barn and it was amazing. The globes were connected by a rustic string and just hung at different heights and clusters. It appeared to be hanging chandeliers from a distance and the glow was so lovely (and unfussy = love that too). Can’t say enough about it!My description is not doing it justice 🙂 you’ll have to see the pix to understand how cool, understated and elegant this technique looked. Yay. A new favorite. And thanks to Riverside Photographer Liz Cotter for the great photos! 🙂
