One of the most beautiful elements of our New England Farm Wedding location is the natural beauty that encircles us. That means every wedding has an element of the surprising unique beauty that the changing light of each season brings. This weekend Lizzie and Jed’s wedding was no exception! Here are just a few of the details that made their wedding day in Vermont theirs.
The welcome dinner was a fun but elegant outdoor party, complete with a hot dog cart provided by Cloud 9 Catering with handcrafted hot dogs made with locally sourced meats. There were lawn games including custom hand painted corn hole targets just for Lizzie and Jed. And what would a summer evening in Vermont be without a fire in the fire pit and a s’more’s bar. Through out the weekend menu items were explained by hand lettered chalkboards.
There were so many personal touches, during the ceremony the brides brother sang a song he had composed just for the couple. At the reception dinner each person received not a table card but a lovely tea cup with a tiny garden inside to bring home as a keepsake. The wedding party were given lovely hand designed canvas bags decorated with a map of Pittsfield, vermont and filled with Vermont goodies from the Vermont’s Original Store in town.
Please enjoy our behind the scenes snapshots, we can’t wait to get the official shots from In Tandem who came all the way from Austin, Texas to shoot the wedding!
