So the morning of the wedding we hosted a young crowd of athletes and the groom, “Uncle Ian” mc’d the “Kid’s Olympics”… it consisted of blue skies, warm weather, red, white and blue everything, potato sack races, wheel barrow racing, egg on a spoon race, three legged race and lots more silliness… my personal favorite was the “Pinwheel Sprint” where the kids ran around the wedding tree (aka kissing tree) with their shiny new pinwheels spinning… that was epic. Everyone earned a gold medal and it was a great time for everyone (especially the parents who appreciated a fun activity designed for the youngest wedding guests).
