Wow, another week another spectacular wedding behind us. What made David + Eliza’s wedding special? Where do I begin? We were lucky to have one of those perfect crisp clear end of summer weekends with sunny days and cool evenings. Perfect for a Vermont weekend, an outdoor ceremony at Riverside Farm, and an outdoor fire. This outdoorsy group made the most of the natural offerings Pittsfield, Vermont has to offer. They tubed the white River, rode the Green Mountain Trails and walked the Stone Stairs.
This weekend Delicata Catering served the wedding dinner in a beautiful tent from Weddings Tents and Events. That left the entire Brown Barn open for dancing! And this group danced. We can’t wait to see the photos Sabin Gratz Photography captured. With the big crowd we had a excuse to bring our our vintage red Farmall tractor and shuttle kids (and adults) around the grounds. The bride was radiant all weekend, especially when she walked down the aisle as her brother played Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” on the violin. What a beautiful moment.
One of the inventive personal touches was the “Fully Clothed” home made granola David and Eliza mixed up and presented to all their guests as welcome gifts in mason jars.
Here are a few behind the scenes snapshots from this perfect end of summer New England barn wedding. We can’t wait to share the official photos from Sabin Gratz Photography when they are completed!
Congratulations Eliza + David, thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day!
